We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology, problem-solving, and customer service. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will assist end-users with troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support via chats, email, or in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with setting up and configuring workstations, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Document and track support requests using a ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Guide users through basic troubleshooting steps and best practices.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and system maintenance.
- Maintain and update knowledge base articles for common support issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of computer systems, operating systems (Windows/Linux desired), and networking.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new technologies quickly.
- High school diploma or equivalent;a degree or certification in IT is a plus.
- Prior experience in technical support positions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems.
- Basic knowledge with troubleshooting internet connectivity and network devices.
